Phnom Penh : His Excellency Prak Sokhon, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cambodia, posted on the official page: “I just had the opportunity to congratulate Lok Chumteav Pinnyvong​ on her recent appointment as Foreign Minister of Australia via telephone call this afternoon.
Cambodia and Australia have been long-standing partners, where our diplomatic relations officially dated back 7 decades ago. In recent times, particularly during period of hardship, our relations have grown even tighter as we and the whole world fight against the COVID-19. Cambodia is thus thankful for the kind assistance from the Government and the people of Australia.
We are both committed to working closely together in both bilateral and multilateral frameworks by placing our peoples at the core of all of our endeavours. Thank you for the peace
