COVID-19: 653 New Infections; Tally 101,443
Phnom Penh, The daily infections of COVID-19 in Cambodia remain above 600 since the past few days.
This morning, 653 new cases of COVID-19 were reported; bringing the tally to 101,443, pointed out the Ministry of Health in a press release, adding that 130 of which were imported and the rest were linked to the Feb. 20 community outbreak.
Meanwhile, 9 new deaths were registered, but 463 more patients have recovered; the total death and recovered cases in the Kingdom stood at 2,067 and 95,367, respectively.
The first COVID-19 case was detected in Cambodia in late January 2020 in Preah Sihanouk province. The confirmed cases have surged quickly this year due to the Feb. 20 incident.
